My Name is Petra NIYONSENGA and I am an agronomist studied at ISAE (Higher
Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry). Now I am working as an
"Environmental Education and Community outreach program officer"
with ACNR. My feeling is to enhance environmental conservation and awareness
by involving nature clubs in schools and local communities in order to
protect the natural resources in Rwanda and in the world
sustainably. I like nature, I am a friend of nature and I wish all of you to
become friends of nature, too.

Dr. Landry Ndriko MAYINGIGANE

Position: Climate Change and public health advisor
Contact: 
Dr Landry Ndriko Mayigane is working as the Climate Change and public
health advisor for ACNR. He already showed interest in conservation issues
during High School and began leading the Youth UNESCO Club. Dr. Mayigane
has a doctorate in veterinary medicine degree and his interests include:
Climate Change, emerging diseases, public health, biodiversity conservation,
rural development, animal production and youth empowerment.
He works full-time for the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources in Rwanda.
He is the focal of the Poultry Industries Development Project in Rwanda.
His skills include: youth mobilization, Community organization, event organization
and facilitation, social networking, diplomacy, public speaking, proposal writing,
working with the media and public advocacy.

Jean Paul NTUNGANE

Position: IBA monitor officer
Contact: 
I graduated from National University of Rwanda, in 2009 with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Biology. Courses and trainings that I have done include
TBA (Tropical Biology Association) course, Information Management Training
(BirdLife). I have experience in biodiversity survey and working with
community. I am currently working as an intern at the BirdLife International Africa Secretariat to develop a career in conservation.
The aesthetic value of natural flora and fauna is what I admire most in this
career. My vision is sufficient skills and knowledge which enable me to
effectively apply research for the conservation of biodiversity in Rwanda
